'Artists do a lot of waiting; sometimes this waiting takes years, sometimes it is momentary. For many years I have been walking the same path following a shorleline. Occasionally, I find objects washed up by the sea. The objects I am attracted to are man-made and were once part of a whole. I have a desire to make a new whole -  a small part of completion.'
